The New Haven Alumnae Chapter was proudly chartered on October 3, 1959, by 23 courageous, visionary trailblazers who were committed to carrying forward the legacy established by our 22 Founders. Since that historic day, our chapter has remained steadfast in serving the Greater New Haven area—expanding our reach, strengthening our impact, and upholding the rich legacy of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

We are deeply committed to serving our community, our region, and our beloved sorority, while building meaningful partnerships with organizations that align with our mission and values. Our goal is bold and intentional: to leave a lasting legacy where lives are changed, communities are transformed, and the mission of Delta Sigma Theta is advanced.

Through a wide range of impactful programs and initiatives, we address critical issues affecting our community, including educational development, economic empowerment, physical and mental health, and political and social action.
