Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University.

On December 1st, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with HIV, and to remember those who have died from AIDS related illnesses. The theme for the 2021 observance is “Ending the HIV Epidemic: Equitable Access, Everyone's Voice" (https://www.hiv.gov/events/awareness-days/world-aids-day)

New Haven Alumnae Chapter is excited to join the New Haven Mayor’s Task Force on AIDS (NHMTFA) for the virtual World Aids Day program entitled “Ending the Epidemic: A Shared Responsibility”.
