The city of New Haven was originally formed on a grid of nine squares, of which the central square is what we now call the New Haven Green. New Haven also had the first tree planting program in America, which contributed to the beautiful elm tree lined streets we enjoy today.
This is a signature event developed by the Sorority’s National Arts and Letters Commission to promote the literary talent of Delta authors within its sisterhood. This theme greatly aligns with our illustrious sisterhood, and especially in the Eastern Region.
